Something cool that Asher and I noted a few times during the Rebel Trout Trek and that thankfully never changed is that we fished almost every day for more than three weeks and lost zero time to rain or other weather. It rained lightly one day while we were setting up a tent and a few times while we were in the car, but none the entire time we were fishing. Granted some of our fishing was in the desert. However, some was also in rainforests, and most was somewhere in-between. We could have fished in the rain, but soggy conditions aren't great for photos. Plus, heavy rain can blow out a stream, and lightning will keep me from going at all. We are thankful to have enjoyed great weather the entire trip!
