At 3 1/2 weeks, Holly probably didn't care about the abundant wildflowers that were blooming in the woodlands and marshes beside the fabulous nature trails at the Kensington Metro Park. She probably didn't even care about the songbirds I identified or the doe and two fawns. I enjoyed showing her things, though, and telling her about them, and she enjoyed the warm fresh air of a summer afternoon as I held her close to me and we walked slowly along the trail. I think Holly is going to be a hiker.
