If you visit my blog from time to time, I hope you've noticed a change for the better in recent weeks. I've played with the layout and colors to give the site a cleaner look that I think is easier to read and have added a handful of pages that I hope you find interesting and useful. The page names on the tabs above are self explanatory, but I do hope you'll take time to look around a bit and to see what I'm trying to do with the whole site. It's worth noting, by the way, that while the pages won't get new content nearly as often as the blog homepage, they definitely are works in progress, and I will continue to add destinations, resources and contacts for friends and family, along with rotating the videos that are featured and updating my information, as needed.
The latest change is only a single word, but I suppose it's significant since it's in the title of the site. I'd been calling my site "Jeff Samsel Outdoors," leaving things somewhat open for occasional blogs I write about hikes, birds on our feeders, rafting trips or other outdoor rambings. However, when I look at my page focus and the actual content, such a huge portion is about fishing, it's far more accurate to call the site "Jeff Samsel Fishing" and to consider the occasional other posts diversions.
Although the total blog site continues to change, the blog itself will maintain similar content (which I hope is a good thing), looking at all things fishy.
