Rods Packed -- Just in Case

Personal plans will have the truck pointed toward western North Carolina this morning. I'm not really sure when the day's official plans will end, and my best guess is that Nathaniel and I simply will return home this evening. We'll be relatively close to a couple of my favorite cool-season trout streams, though, and the weather looks good. Therefore, we've stuck a couple of pairs of waders and ultralight outfits and a little box of single-hook trout lures in the back of the truck -- just in case. On the chance that we wrap up fairly early and have a yearning to get in the creek, I'd sure hate to not be properly equipped. If we end up with a story to tell, I'll tell it tomorrow!
