A stiff wind and no anchor made vertical fishing challenging this afternoon. However, enough fish were scattered along the bottom that we were able to manage a few fish by drifting and dragging ice jigs along the bottom.
The best part came at the end. I had just hooked a small bass and Asher wad grabbing his camera when he realized his own rod was bouncing. He set the hook and ended up landing the best bluegill of the day about the same time as I landed my bass
A father/son pond double is always nice for wrapping up a weekend!
