Our biggest fish producers today were black marabou jigs. We angled Northland Bug-A-Boos downstream, and used a snap-and-drop presentation that's popular on the White River and is extremely effective.
At dinner tonight folks talked like we must have been miserable out there this morning, fishing in a pretty steady and cold rain. The truth is that Eric and I hardly noticed that it was raining. We were having too much fun catching trout!
