A free-lance writer, photographer and editor, Jeff Samsel works from a home office at the edge of the mountains in North Georgia. Jeff writes mostly about fishing and fishes for pretty much everything that swims. He has traveled as far as Canada's Yukon Territory and Brazil's Amazon River Basin in pursuit of exotic gamefish, but his favorite place to fish is a remote river gorge in North Georgia - only 45 minutes from his home. A father of five, Jeff also writes about family adventures and travel. He and his wife, Denise, homeschool their children and all enjoy traveling together. Jeff is the author of two books, "Georgia - a Backcountry Guide to Travel and Adventure" and "Catfishing in the South" and his writing and photography have been published in more than 100 different publications.
