Looks like another quick trip to the in-town lake could be in order this afternoon. Fish were pretty fussy yesterday, but I think I'm ready for them. I've rigged the smallest size of Watsit Grub on my ultralight and have a tiny beadhead nymph about a foot and a half behind it. Rig is pictured below. Think it'll get the job done?
Assuming we make it out there, we'll soon find out what the fish think about it.
My other rod is rigged with a small green pumpkin swimbait, which is pretty subtle for the bass.
