Today was more broken than I'd envisioned, with a bit if a slow start, one stop that didn't quite work in part due to leaking waders, and a big loss if time because of stuff forgotten at home.
Asher and I still managed to catch a few trout, though, and we saw quite a few. We're in NC now and fully rigged and ready, with a good feel for how the Nantahala is fishing, so I feel good about the full day ahead of us.
Time will tell, but I think we might catch them well!
