A mixed day of work and play included everything from catching bass on YUMbrella Rigs to shooting docks for crappie and was capped off with a great photo session with Patrick Bone and Matt Lee. Just before the sun dipped below the treeline, when everything was glowing, I asked Matt to move a cast's distance away to make a few casts for photos. Matt took it a step further and almost immediately hooked a bass, providing live action for photos.
Something significant about the afternoon photo opportunity was that the sun was out at all. We hadn't seen much of the sun for a couple of days.
More of the same on tap for tomorrow, beginning with a morning of fishing and photo work with Alton Jones. And the sun is supposed to shine again. Good thing, because word is that the morning will begin really cold.
