Not a lot to report today. I'm just spending my day working my way toward home from Deer River, Minnesota. I've finished leg one, a 60-mile drive along a snowy highway. Next is a short ride in a little plane followed by a longer ride in a bigger plane and then 90 miles of driving in Georgia, assuming the roads are in OK shape.
If all goes well, I'll be home around bedtime. So far no word of a delayed flight to Atlanta, and I think it's warming enough there today that roads will be fine. My biggest concern is refreezing because it'll be 9ish at best by the time I reach North Georgia.
I'm on plane 1 now and will have to shut down soon, so I guess it's time to wrap up this blog.
